The Lehi Amateur Radio Club is an amateur (ham) radio club providing emergency radio communication services to the citizens of Utah County and Salt Lake City. This is a general interest Ham club, encouraging all aspects of Amateur Radio that interest the members.
We are a 501(c)(3) corporation that is affiliated with the ARRL, the national organization for ham radio operators. While there is no cost to join LARC, we do ask that you consider a small donation to help out with what costs, including matinainging the repeater system.
The club runs a system of 6 linked repeaters, covering 8,770 sq km and serving a population of 1,693,730. Except during regularly scheduled nets, these repeaters are open for use by any licensed operator.
Intended for ward and stake Emergency Preparedness and Communication Specialists to practice their radio preparedness skills, but all are welcome to participate.
